The IAHS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Purchasing Management course aims to provide a clear understanding of the key role that purchasing and procurement play within an organisation. The role is increasingly an important one; although marketing efforts do increase gross revenues, they also increase the cost of goods sold, while purchasing and procurement management efforts go directly to the bottom-line profit by increasing net revenue.

- Public Procurement Law
- E-Procurement

IAHS qualifications at RQF Level 4 represent practical knowledge, skills, capabilities and competences that are assessed in academic terms as being equivalent to Year 1 of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree programme.
All components of this qualification are assessed internally by the centre and externally certified by IAHS. The qualifications are assessed using criterion-referenced methods, which evaluate the attainment of all the required learning outcomes. In order to obtain a ‘pass’ grade for a unit, learners must present evidence that shows they have successfully achieved all the learning objectives and have met the requirements outlined by the assessment criteria. The Assessor is responsible for determining whether the learners have met the assessment criteria. The Assessor is required to present a clear and documented record of the process used to determine the learners’ overall achievement.
Successful completion of the IAHS Level 4 Diploma qualification provides learners the opportunity for a wide range of academic progressions including progression to relevant IAHS Level 5 Diplomas. Learners are also eligible to gain direct entry into Year 2 of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree programme.
