IAHS LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN LOGISTICS AND SUPPLYCHAIN MANAGEMENT (DLSML3)
The objective of the IAHS Level 4 Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management qualification is to provide learners with a specialist programme of study that provides a depth of knowledge and understanding of key aspects within the Logistics and Supply Chain Management sector.
The Level 4 units provide an introduction to contemporary Business and LCSM topics. The units combine both theoretical and practical knowledge in the profession and will develop and enhance knowledge and skills in the areas of academic and research skills, logistics and the business environment, operations management, effective performance, planning and accountability, finance, communication, management and team working.

These qualifications are specifically intended for learners who are generally 18 years old or older.
Learners are expected to have at least one of the following qualifications:
- Possession of a Level 3 Diploma or a certificate of equal value that is directly applicable to the subject matter.
- Completion of GCE Advanced level in two subjects or an equivalent qualification is required.
- This programme is intended for mature learners who are over the age of 21 and have appropriate management experience. Before registering for the training, learners should confirm with the delivery centre whether their experience meets the requirements.
The course has a duration of 120 credits and spans over a period of 12 months, equivalent to 1 year. Additionally, you have the opportunity to expedite the course duration. To obtain additional information, please contact our admissions department.
IAHS qualifications at RQF Level 4 represent practical knowledge, skills, capabilities and competences that are assessed in academic terms as being equivalent to Year 1 of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree programme.
All components of this qualification are assessed internally by the centre and externally certified by IAHS. The qualifications are assessed using criterion-referenced methods, which evaluate the attainment of all the required learning outcomes. In order to obtain a ‘pass’ grade for a unit, learners must present evidence that shows they have successfully achieved all the learning objectives and have met the requirements outlined by the assessment criteria. The Assessor is responsible for determining whether the learners have met the assessment criteria. The Assessor is required to present a clear and documented record of the process used to determine the learners’ overall achievement.
Successful completion of the IAHS Level 4 Diploma qualification provides learners the opportunity for a wide range of academic progressions including progression to relevant IAHS Level 5 Diplomas. Learners are also eligible to gain direct entry into Year 2 of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree programme.
