These qualifications are specifically intended for learners who are generally 18 years old or older. There are no academic entry requirements for this course, and it is open to students of all academic backgrounds.
All components of this qualification are assessed internally by the centre and externally certified by IAHE. The qualifications are assessed using criterion-referenced methods, which evaluate the attainment of all the required learning outcomes. In order to obtain a ‘pass’ grade for a unit, learners must present evidence that shows they have successfully achieved all the learning objectives and have met the requirements outlined by the assessment criteria. The Assessor is responsible for determining whether the learners have met the assessment criteria. The Assessor is required to present a clear and documented record of the process used to determine the learners’ overall achievement.

IAHE qualifications at RQF Level 4 represent practical knowledge, skills, capabilities and competences that are assessed in academic terms as being equivalent to Year 1 of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree programme.
Successful completion of the IAHE Level 4 Diploma qualification provides learners the opportunity for a wide range of academic progressions including progression to relevant IAHE Level 5 Diplomas. Learners are also eligible to gain direct entry into Year 2 of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree programme.

IAHE Level 7 PGC in Education and Leadership Management

For entry onto the IAHE Level 7 PGC in Education Management and Leadership, learners must:
• Possess an honours degree in related subject or UK level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification;
• Be 21 years or older at the beginning of the course; or
